“How many of us would be able to say, if we were not to wake up tomorrow, that we had left an indelible mark, created a legacy for hundreds and inspired many more to become champions in their fields? We’re not born that way, we who are successful have had many ‘life-champions’ who’ve facilitated and enhanced our development – more importantly, we’re capable of doing this for others, and can choose to in all walks of life.
We don’t know, when we are young, just how pivotal some of our life champions are and the role that they will play in the narrative of our lives. What I know is that each of us could be someone who is having an incremental impact on the trajectory of someone’s life. This means that if you want to create and cultivate a good legacy, then now could be the time to begin to reflect on yourself and what you bring to the party, this crazy celebration that we are all participant in – life. We are never too young to begin to reflect on the impact we have had, are having, or could have, on those around us – in all areas of our lives.”
