Dr. Mian’s impressive career journey and unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion make him a valuable addition to our growing network.

A Journey of Excellence and Expertise

Dr. Mian’s career journey is a testament to his dedication to excellence. He began as a graduate engineer at Cogent Defence & Security Networks in 1997, where he honed his skills and expertise in managing and delivering projects, both in the enterprise and military communications systems domains. Over the years, he progressed through the ranks, earning recognition as a Senior Network Engineer before taking on the role of Consulting Systems Engineer at BAE Systems in 2007.

Not content with merely professional accomplishments, Dr. Mian pursued academic excellence alongside his career. In 2003, he completed a PhD at Cardiff University, delving into state-of-the-art network traffic models for multimedia networks. His contributions to this field were notable, resulting in sole-author journal publications in prestigious journals like the IET and IEEE.

Empowering Enterprises through ITSUS Consulting

In 2009, Dr. Mian co-founded ITSUS Consulting with a vision to provide exceptional consultancy services to enterprises and government organizations. Under his leadership as Managing Director, ITSUS Consulting has forged partnerships with industry giants such as Airbus Defence & Space, Dstl, General Dynamics, and more. These collaborations have led to groundbreaking innovations and solutions in the realm of enterprise and military communications.

Dr. Mian’s commitment to excellence extends beyond project delivery. He has championed best practices within the company, including obtaining certifications like ISO 9001, Cyber Essentials, and Cyber Essentials Plus. Currently, he is leading the charge towards ISO 27001 accreditation, highlighting his dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and security.
